Credits and FAQ
How PixAI Studio spends your PixAI credits, what membership unlocks, and how to get help.
Studio uses your PixAI account and your PixAI credits. There is no separate Studio balance: a generation in Studio spends the same credits as one on pixai.art.
How Studio spends credits
Each time you click Generate, the run costs credits. Before you run, the prompt bar shows the Estimated cost next to Generate. The cost depends on the model and its settings, such as the resolution, the duration or the number of results.
- Your balance shows in the header. Point to it and click Top up to buy credits on PixAI.
- Failed runs are refunded.
- Cancelled runs are not refunded.
If your balance is too low, Studio shows Not enough credits. Click Top up on PixAI, or choose cheaper settings.

Membership
Some models and settings are for PixAI members only. They show a membership badge in the model list. If you use one without the membership it needs, Studio shows Membership required. Click Upgrade on PixAI to see the plans.

Saving and sync
Studio saves your changes automatically. If it can't reach the server, an icon shows next to the workspace name. Click it to see the details.
While the icon shows, your latest changes exist only in this browser. Don't clear your browser data or close the tab until the icon goes away.
Report a problem
In What went wrong?, write what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Optional: select Include a copy of this canvas (optional) if the problem is about this canvas. The copy contains everything on the canvas.
The Help menu also has Chat with support for urgent problems and Join #Studio on Discord to talk with other creators.
Common questions
Do I need a separate account or credits for Studio?
No. Studio uses your PixAI account, and generations spend your PixAI credits.
Studio says the task queue is full.
You have too many tasks waiting to run. Wait until some of them start, then click Generate again.
Why can't I edit on my phone?
Studio doesn't support editing on phones and small touch screens yet. You can view a canvas there. Open it on a computer to edit.
A run failed with "Blocked by content moderation".
The prompt or a reference didn't pass content moderation. Change it and run again.
